Fleetiqo LLC ("Fleetiqo", "we", "us", "our") is the data controller for SalvageAlert. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal data when you use salvagealert.com and the SalvageAlert application.

We collect information you provide directly, including:

• Account data (email, optional name, password hash)
• Workspace data (saved searches, favorites, notes, settings)
• Notification data (Telegram chat linkage, quiet-hours preferences)
• Billing and transaction records required for account administration

We also collect limited technical data such as IP address, device/browser metadata, and log events needed for security, reliability, and abuse prevention.

We use data to provide and secure the Service, operate your account, deliver notifications, process billing, provide support, improve product quality, and comply with legal obligations.

Depending on jurisdiction, we process data under contractual necessity, legitimate interests (service security and improvement), legal obligations, and consent where required.

We retain personal data while your account is active and for as long as needed to meet legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and support obligations. Account-deletion requests are processed promptly; operational backups may persist for a limited period before rollover deletion.

Paddle.com acts as Merchant of Record for purchases and handles payment processing, chargebacks, and refund handling. Telegram delivers notifications when you link your chat. We also use infrastructure, observability, and email/service providers strictly as needed to operate the Service.

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data where required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect legal rights and service security.

Your data may be processed in countries outside your place of residence. Where required, we use reasonable contractual and technical safeguards for cross-border transfers.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, and objection/restriction rights by contacting privacy@salvagealert.com. We respond within statutory timelines.

We apply industry-standard administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No method of storage or transmission is fully risk-free, but we continuously improve controls.

The Service is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be posted with an updated date, and when appropriate communicated by email or in-app notice.
