Bid ceiling

Bid up to US$1,200 to land at 70% of the retail estimate all-in, fees and the listed repair estimate included.

At today's bid, all-in with the repair estimate comes to 85% of the retail estimate.

No repair estimate is listed, so this leaves repairs out — inspect before relying on it. A rebuilder's rule of thumb, not advice: bid, fees and repairs under about 70% of what the car is worth. Your target may differ; the calculator has every switch.

These vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."
Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will correct the calibration-learning error by preconditioning the empty seat, and also resetting the ECU to a seat zero-value, free of charge.
